To make the integration and testing process seamless and secure, KYCAID provides a set of test documents.
We strongly recommend using these sample files instead of uploading your real personal documents (such as your actual passport or ID card) while testing verification steps. The system is specifically trained to recognise these test files.
When you upload a test document using a test form or a test API key, the system successfully recognises the test document and the document verification status is automatically set to Approved.
Never use test documents to test production flows, as they will always be rejected to prevent fraud.
When a test document is uploaded using a production form or a production API key (e.g., by mistake or by an end-user trying to bypass the system), the document verification status is set to Declined and the decline reason is returned as FAKE_DOCUMENT.
