CURP

Request

Use this endpoint to verify a Mexican CURP (Clave Única de Registro de Población) number and get the personal data registered for it in the national population registry (RENAPO).

Our system converts the CURP number to uppercase before the check.

Each successful request is charged.

A field has the value null when no data is available for it.

Mexican RFC number

Our system can also get the RFC (Registro Federal de Contribuyentes) number of the applicant by the CURP number. This happens automatically during the verification and does not need an API request.

To enable this, add the "Document" and "Tax ID" verification steps to the form in the Dashboard, and select the "Mexican RFC number" checkbox in the "Additional processing" block of the "Tax ID" step.

When the residence country of the applicant is Mexico, our system saves the RFC number as the document_number of the TAX_ID_NUMBER document. If our system cannot get the RFC number, the document number is empty. This option is charged for each verification.
